Geekend 2011

Geekend isn't your average interactive conference, but don't take our word for it. Check out how we roll.

Designers, developers and fellow techno-savvy studs from as far as Sweden gathered once again for the Geekend greatness in November 2011. Even Baratunde Thurston, Director of Digital at The Onion at the time, attended to give the keynote speech of a lifetime. Two words: Horse masturbation.

We kicked off our first-ever 24 hour Hackathon, where teams of up to four developers created a variety of mobile and desktop experiences. A field trip database was one of the projects created as a nod to the three-dozen public school teachers in attendance for professional development.

Did we mention we hit the road? Our Roadshow event in Boston was an awesome adventure, needless to say. Not to mention our GM EN-V test-drives in Savannah! For more of the geeky goodness, take a look at our recap blog posts, photos and session videos below. Hope to see you at our next event!
