Cath Coetzer is the Global Innovation Portfolio Director at The Coca-Cola Company, the world’s most loved brand. Grounded in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, she has held senior leadership positions stewarding the Coca-Cola business for more than 20 years.
Cath is a graduate of the University of The Witwatersrand and The University of South Africa. She began her career in Tertiary Education and spent 10 years as a college lecturer. Cath then joined the Coca-Cola system in 1999.
Her career progression and experience in the FMCG industry spans more than 40 countries. She represented South Africa on the Coca-Cola Eurasia Africa Women’s Leadership Council and is an advocate for empowering women. A proud mother of three children and committed advocate for whole family relationships, Cath exhibits the practical philosophy of work-life integration every day.
Cath has a passion for education and is an active lobbyist for increased community participation in local schools. She is also an executive coach and invests substantial time in mentoring and coaching. South African by birth, Cath and her family are outdoor enthusiasts and love water sports. Their family mantra is “live with arms wide open,” and she strongly subscribes to the idea that life is not a rehearsal, so get out there and LIVE.
