Gregory Kolovich MD is Chief Medical Officer & Co-Founder of Micro C Imaging, located in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Kolovich invented the Micro C™, a groundbreaking medical imaging solution designed for surgeons and physicians treating disorders of the extremities that combines a compact, handheld X-ray and digital and infrared camera and image receptor with software and consumables. With FDA clearance targeted for Q3 2019, it is designed to deliver greater accuracy, clarity, safety, speed, and integration, replacing 60-year-old X-ray and fluoroscopy equipment that is bulky and expensive. Micro C has raised substantial pre-Series A funding from medical industry professionals and technology investors. Dr. Kolovich received a Doctor of Medicine, cum laude, from the Ohio State University College of Medicine where he pursued his orthopedic residency at the Wexner Medical Center. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics there. For his fellowship at Harvard University he focused on Hand and Microsurgery. He graduated magna cum laude from the Georgia Institute of Technology receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, with a double-major in Electrical Engineering and Pre-Medicine. Dr. Kolovich is Partner and practicing orthopedic surgeon at Optim Orthopedics in Savannah, Georgia. For Micro C he won the 2017 Geekend pitch contest, among others, and served as a Geekend panelist in 2018.
