Raised in eastern North Carolina, Bevin Valentine Jalbert is a lifelong southerner. She received a BA in art history from Hollins University in Roanoke, VA and an MFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design. With her arts-focused background, as well as an interest in fashion and styling, she acts as art director for Paprika Southern’s styled shoots and provides editorial direction to the magazine.She lives in Savannah with her husband, Josh, and lizard-obsessed calico, Zooey.
