Robert Wray works out of Georgia Tech’s Dublin office where he specializes in helping Georgia firms develop top-line growth strategies, lean project management, and existing product/process improvement. Robert has 25 years of experience in project management, product development, design, testing, intellectual property, production implementation, and productivity improvements.

Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Robert was chief engineer with Husqvarna, a leading producer of lawn and garden equipment with $2 billion annual sales revenue. Over a period of 12 years with Husqvarna, Robert was instrumental in implementing lean product development methods and led integrated product development teams on strategic multi-million dollar projects.

Robert holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of South Florida and an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina.

Private Sector Work Experience:  Design, development, and implementation of products and processes for medium to high-volume manufacturing of consumer products.

Market Knowledge: Lawn & garden and fitness consumer products.
