Christine Wacta is an African born, French architect and SCAD Professor of Architecture. She is currently completing her PhD in GeoSpatial Sciences for Architecture, Urban Design and History Preservation at Paris Sorbonne-Paris Cite & Paris Diderot.
Her interest in intelligent cities and resiliency as they relate to urban planning motivated her to found Geogen, which provides GeoSpatial Data Generators for Planimetrics, CAD to GIS, BluePrint to GIS and more. Christine believes in GeoDesign as an emerging discipline in architecture and urban design, as it uses big data, sciences and algorithms to help architects, planners and stakeholders make better decisions regarding the future of cities.
